Acrylic Painting on Canvas
All paintings are created on high quality double thick (1.5″) and reinforced wood stretchers using 100% cotton canvas. The medium , unless otherwise stated, is acrylic paint.
*Some canvases are on standard size wood stretchers.
Giclees
What is a Giclee? A Giclee is a type of print with special characteristics.
Art prints are made using dye-based inks. Giclees are made using pigment-based inks.
Giclees have the sharpest detail and highest resolution displaying a full-color spectrum. They capture every shade of an original work.
The paper or surface must be acid-free and of archival quality to ensure longevity. In the right conditions, a Giclee can last up to 200 years without noticeable fading or yellowing.
When a Giclee print is a limited edition this means there are only so many prints of the original artwork that will be made. They are individually hand signed, dated, and numbered by the artist. This increases the value of the Giclee print.
All Giclees are printed on Epsom Cold Press Paper. This paper has an acid free ase, PH Buffered, 100% cotton rag on 340 gsm weight.
